Thursday 19th November The Summer Book (PG) 90 minutes
A gentle drama about an English girl and who spends a summer with her wise grandmother (Glenn Close) on a remote Finnish island. They share a love for the natural world as they contemplate life from their different perspectives.
Glenn Close produces a performance of a lifetime as the wise, spirited but increasingly frail grandmother in this unhurried and atmospheric drama based on the book by Tove Jansson (creator of the Moomins).
