Wyre Forest has an abundance of very talented young musicians and for over a decade St. George's Hall has been supportive of them by providing opportunuties for playing to live audiences though our Music in the Hall events.
That support is being extended to providing a stage for any young performer aged 13 to 18, at any stage of their development, through a monthly series - Young Performers Open Mic Night.
All genres and styles are welcome, so whether you are a full band, a solo singer, a rapper, an instrumentalist or a spoken word artist, come along and take part in our supportive, no-pressure sessions.
A full band set up will be available, just bring your instruments and leads, or if a drummer you may wish to bring your own breakables
In addition our resident sound technician, Jack, will be on hand to provide music tech mentoring, including hands-on experience with our vintage, analogue, Midas Venice desk; perfect for BTEC & A-Level Music students and those looking to move into the technical side of music
It promises to be great night and all are welcome to join the audience and support our young musicians. Entry is free and the licensed bar will be open from 7:00pm
