It's been a while but we have finally got our wish with the return of Amy LaVere to St. George's Hall, Bewdley.
In April 2016 Music in the Hall featured a singer songwriter, from Memphis, Amy LaVere with her partner, guitarist Will Sexton. It proved to be one of the most fantastic nights of music that we have held in SGH.
Not only are Amy's songs beautifully written and sung, the duo are also first-rate musicians, Amy a sought after Double Bass player and Will a sympathetic guitarist with some pedigree. (including brother, Charlie, who was a long-time guitarist for Bob Dylan).
We are over the moon that Amy has chosen Bewdley to be part of a short UK tour in 2026 and urge any lover of great live music to grab the opportunity to see her.
Support comes from the very talented Bewdley-based duo Crimson Flame and the evening will open with a young band, Aurora.
